It has been a great start to the financial year for Police Credit Union, as a new lending record has been set, with £2.54 million being issued in October 2019.
This represents an increase of 50.7% on the same month in the previous financial year in 2018.
Jim Page, Lending Manager for Police Credit Union, said on the achievement “Today we reached a historic milestone having lent more money in October 2019 than any other month in PCU’s history. This is a great achievement for not only the lending team but the whole company as everyone has contributed to this hugely.
Jim added “It’s a great start to the new financial year and puts us on a good footing going forward.”
Police Credit Union, who now serve over 30,000 members within the Police, Military and Prison Service, will be looking to build on their recent achievements in the new financial year.
Paul Norgrove, CEO of Police Credit Union, said: “The team has started the year very strongly and we will look to build on this in the new financial year as we continue to pursue a service excellence strategy, by transforming our processes and introducing exciting new products for our members”.
